Jennifer Lacey, choreographer/dancer from New York presently living in Paris, strives to produce work for a thinking body. In the last 10 years, she has collaborated with visual artist Nadia Lauro, producing performances and installations such as $Shot (2000), Châteaux of France (2001-2005), This is an Epic (2003), mhmmmm (2005), and Les assistantes (2008). Her solo works include Two discussions of an anterior event, Tall, OUCH!. Aside from Culture & Administration, the recent collaboration with Antonija Livingstone, she has created choreographic works for ambiguous formats such as Projet Bonbonnière, an itinerant research project to rehabilitate italian theatres, Prodwhee! a throw-away performance bartered for a residence in a form of currency exchange, Robin Hood, invisible performance with artist Cerith Wyn Evans, Robin Hood-The Tour, a flying act perpetrated with composer/musician Florian Hecker, and Transmaniastan, a choreographed exhibition. Other collaborations include work with Loïc Touzé, Boris Charmatz, Emanuelle Huynh, Benoît Lachambre and Zeena Parkins.
