Marco Lampis
Marco Lampis, artista visivo e sonoro nato a Cagliari, ha studiato a Bologna e a Berlino. Selezionato per il Premio Terna 2009, ha vinto il Premio MAN-Gasworks, partecipando al Gasworks International Program Residency a Londra nel 2010. Nel 2008 ha seguito il Corso Superiore di Arti Visive della Fondazione Ratti a Como. Ha partecipato a mostre in Italia e Europa. Interessato all’interazione di apparati audio-visivi propone installazioni e lives connotati da un forte interesse nei confronti dell’errore e della possibilità di amplificazione dell’apparato sensoriale umano.
Marco Lampis is a visual and sound artist born in Cagliari. He studied in Bologna and Berlin. He was selected for the Terna Award in 2009, he won the MAN-Gasworks Award during the Gasworks International Program Residency in London in 2010. In 2008 he followed a Higher Studies class in Visual Arts at the Ratti Foundation in Como. Since then he has participated in expositions in Italy and Europe. In his works, through sound and music, Lampis approaches the surrounding environment. Every object becomes the vibration which unites atoms and molecules, a vibration which is a physical and acoustic element at the same time, 'tuning up' with the matter and architecture.
