"Ho cominciato ad amare la letteratura ascoltando i testi delle canzoni e sono arrivato alla conclusione che forse la vera poesia del ‘900 è stata fatta proprio dai cantanti. Il mio non vuole essere solo un omaggio ai testi e agli autori, ma a tutta quella musica che, attraverso la sua atmosfera, mi ha aiutato a vedere la realtà in una luce completamente nuova, pronta per essere raccontata.
