Charlotte Vanden Eynde
Charlotte Vanden Eynde, coreografa e performer belga, classe 1975, si è formata a Bruxelles alla scuola di danza contemporanea di Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, P.A.R.T.S. e ha studiato video e film-art alla Royal Accademy of Arts di Anversa. Dal 2001 ha creato le coreografie per tre produzioni del drammaturgo Jan Decorte (Amlett, Cirque Danton e Cannibali!) e ha collaborato con Dorothée van den Berghe al lungometraggio Meisjedi cui è attrice protagonista. Oltre alle installazioni-performances Ligging (Kaaitheater - Bruxelles) e Stand(Brakke Ground - Amsterdam), al duo Lijfstof con Ugo dehaes, e ad interventi per la presentazione di collezioni moda degli studenti della scuola La Cambre, nel 2003 ha creato il duo MAP ME(premiato dal SACD-Belgium) a cui ha fatto seguito Beginning/Endings, coreografia per 6 performer i cui corpi tentano di disimparare i movimenti appresi, presentata al Springdance festival di Utrecht e al KunstenFestivaldesArts di Bruxelles nel 2005.
Belgian-born Charlotte Vanden Eynde trained as a dancer at the Hoger Instituut voor Dans in Lier and at PARTS, the Brussels school for contemporary dance headed by Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. She has created a prolific body of acclaimed work which includesBenenbreken, Zij Ogen, Vrouwenvouwen, the duet Lijfstof in collaboration with Ugo Dehaes, and Beginnings/Endings; and the installation-performances: Ligging for Kaaitheater(Brussels), Verroering, Baby and Stand for de Brakke Grond (Amsterdam). Recently, she has collaborated with stage director Jan Decorte, Marc Vanrunxt, and recently debuted to much acclaim as a film actress.
