Le parole del controverso fisico Bob Lazar aprono The distance to the Sun, mentre si viaggia verso uno dei luoghi più segreti al mondo, la zona S4 nel Nevada. Il film e' stato girato lungo il perimetro ll'Area 51, l'Extraterrestrial-375-Highway e la citta' di Rachel, il Palomar mountain observatory e Cielo Drive a Los Angeles, California. Il deserto del Nevada disegna uno spazio mentale, intimo e struggente, per un'esperienza unica, tra simbolismo visivo, memoria, spazi ed eventi misteriosi. The work starts with words spoken by Bob Lazar, an American physician with a controversial personality. Some people consider him to be one of the few witnesses of the relationships between American scientists and and alien beings in the area S-4, one of the most top secret military places of the United States. In The distance to the sun Nevada desert shapes an inner and far mind location for a unique deep experience, between imagery, memories, and misterious events, all around the 51 area, travelling the Extraterrestrial-375-Highway, the town of Rachel, Mount Palomar Observatory and Cielo Drive in Los Angeles, California.
