Ripartono il 14 ottobre le attività di Raum, lo spazio di Xing a Bologna, con un calendario di progetti speciali, produzioni e ospitalità, fino a dicembre 2017. Luogo ormai consolidato per la presentazione di ricerche dell’ambito delle live arts, Raum presenta il lavoro di una decina di artisti selezionati grazie anche a una rete di collaborazioni con altre istituzioni di ricerca attive sul territorio. Come altrettanti atti di trasfigurazione di un spazio reale, le dieci performance in programma, attraverso costruzioni sonore/narrative/visuali, ci introdurranno in altrettanti mondi singolari, generati grazie alla sensibilità espressiva di alcuni protagonisti della produzione contemporanea. Figure per noi emergenti, estranee ai tracciati più noti, rappresentano lo sforzo non esaurito di evocare una realtà ancora favolosa, super-relazionale, intuita e ricercata oltre ai confini del banale che segnano il mondo contemporaneo.

Xing's space in Bologna, Raum, restarts its activities from the 14th October with a calendar of special projects, productions and hospitality events running up until December 2017. Masters in the field of live arts research, this autumn Raum will host the work of ten selected artists and groups, drawn from a network of collaborators and arts research organisations active across Italy. As is the case with acts that involve the transfiguration of a real space, the ten performances in the programme, through sound/narrative/visual constructions, will introduce us to  many different singular worlds, generated by the expressive sensitivity of these leading talents from the world of contemporary production. For us, these emerging artistic personalities, overlooked by most well-known trends, represent an inexhaustible effort to evoke a reality that is still fabulous and super-relational, foreseen and sought after beyond the confines of the banal that marks the contemporary world.
